how much water should given for 6months old baby when he is on solid food and breastmilk

A. hi j start few spoons of water after each meal. give boiled and then cooled water at normal temperature. quantity depends on weather too.60 to 100 ml per day.

A. Hello ma’am You should start giving semisolid food to your child after child completes the age of six months before that you should exclusively breastfeed the baby I know water as well. After six months you can give moderate amount of water to your child because it is very difficult for kids to except water initially so they pick up slowly gradually so try to give 2 to 3 spoons every 30 to 40 minutes slowly gradually so this way your child will develop the taste for water over the period
