Q.

How much time it takes for a premature baby to pick up weight and growth like full term baby. (My baby is born in 7 month 18 days and weight was 1.6 kg)

A. Hi, Baby will gain good weight once you will start giving semi solid and solid food once baby completes 6 month. Till then please give exclusive breastfeeding as mother's milk gives lifelong immunity to baby and also it is easily digestible. Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight.
