A. at least 2 hours, as calcium of breast milk can hamper iron absorption give iron rich food, Pulses, such as baked beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, garbanzo beans, lentils, and peas are extremely good for your baby as they are rich in iron. Broccoli, Beet root, lufa, and Spinach is another iron-loaded vegetable. Dried apricots, figs, raisins and prunes can be healthy finger food.
