A. You can start using a menstrual cup after a C-section delivery once your postpartum bleeding (lochia) completely stops and your doctor confirms that your cervix and vaginal muscles have healed. This usually takes 6-8 weeks but may vary for each woman. When to Start Using a Menstrual Cup After C-Section? ✅ Wait at least 6-8 weeks postpartum. ✅ Ensure your first period returns (if using the cup for periods). ✅ Get a doctor’s approval if unsure. Should You Use the Same Cup or Buy a New One? If your previous cup fits well and is in good condition, you can reuse it after sterilizing. If your pelvic muscles feel weaker, consider a larger or softer cup for better comfort. If your cup is old or damaged, it’s better to buy a new one. Tip: Start with pads or pantyliners for your first period after a C-section to check flow and comfort before switching to a cup. Let me know if you need help choosing a cup!
