Q.

hlw doc. my baby is 2 month old and he has a cold and bcz of this his nose is being blocked please suggest something.

A. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. try to prevent temperature variations around the child you can go for indirect steam inhalation whichx will again help in decreasing both cough and cold continue the regular diet of the child if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor for fever and pain give paracetamol. anti-cold medicinesx at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and give baby indirect steam twice a day and also apply luke warm mustard oil on baby chest and massage gently. also give medicine after doctor evaluation as medicine is given as per baby weight and age. thanks and take care
