Home Remedies & Treatment: Keep the area dry and clean – Wash with lukewarm water and pat dry. Apply a diaper rash cream – Use zinc oxide or petroleum jelly to protect the skin. Use an antifungal cream – If the rash looks like a yeast infection (red, spreading, with small bumps), use clotrimazole cream (after consulting a doctor). Avoid tight clothing – Dress him in loose, breathable cotton clothes. Let the skin breathe – Keep him diaper-free for some time.
