Hlo dr . My son is 14 month old .He is suffered from cold and cough kindly tell me what food i give him

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough is a response of the body defence mechanism where the respiratory tract tries to expel the external factors by producing excess of mucous and cough reflex.
Most of thgre times it's infective in origin . Viral infection are most common.
A proper examination is required before giving any medication.
Antitussive / bronchodilator/ expectorant medicine are given as per need.
