Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. depends upon the severity so may require iron supplementation here there after you can consult with your local doctor and so get proper guidance for this accordingly to clear all your doubts further in proper way and it would be helpful .

Right now your child has only five months old so you can just go ahead with giving iron supplement to the child regularly what is going to be the dosage and for how long do you need to go ahead with that is going to be completely dependent on the language of haemoglobin and suggestion of your doctor
