Q.
Hiii....my son has very small white spots in his face and shoulder???is thr any remedy to try to rcvr from them... should we go to dermatologist or pediatrician???

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.

some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

See sometimes these things could just be due to dryness but if it spreads or does not subside properly over the period then there can be issue of deficiency of calcium or skin related problem so yes it is better to check with the Pediatrician first on the situation
