Q.
Hii.. My baby is 2 months old and as per doctors we need to cover her properly so that she does catch a cold. However whenever I try to cover her and use diaper she gets diaper rashes after which I need to keep her in langot for the next 2-3 days.. Please suggest what can be done to cover her effectively and prevent diaper rashes. Any advice will be helpful.. Thanks

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is no problem in making the child wear diaper throughout the day but the most important thing is that it should not cause skin allergy as well as you have to change it frequently before urine accumulation causes perianal rash.
you can apply coconut oil before making the child wear diaper which will help in decreasing the chances of rash.
so important to change diaper more frequently
