A. Ideal weight of a 15 montgs old baby girl should be between 9.2 to 9.6 kgs depending on eating habits and birth weight. To help baby gain weight, include fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, chicken, fish, egg, legumes, banana, milkshakes with dry fruits, avocado and 550-650 ml milk everyday alongwith variety of fluids. If she does not drink milk, try to give dairy products like cheese, curd, coconut milk, soy milk, almond milk, custard, buttermilk, paneer, Dalia, oatmeal with nuts, etc. Calcium present in milk is very essential for development of healthy teeth and bones.
