Hi Mom, if your baby is active, happy and reaching milestones then nothing to worry. as baby's weight depends on birth weight, average weight gain we can expect is 500 gm to 1 kg in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year. small deviation is absolutely fine.
you can start with weaning foods like rice water, dal water, porridge, homemade cerelac, fruits puree, vegetables puree, smashed banana, chikko, potato, etc along with breastfeeding. and use ghee in meal preparations.
feed baby on regular intervals after 2 hours gap.
maintain good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
