Q.

Hii all, My daughter suffering from fever.i gave paracetamol. not yet control wt to do

A. whenever fever is not improving with paracetamol you will have to see if the dosage of the medicine is given according to the weight of the child or not and if the power of the paracetamol is proper. also if the medicine is older than one month after opening then better to buy a new bottle. you have to give paracetamol and also dzo body sponge and keep the child in cotton clothes. after 2 hours of paracetamol if the fever is is not improving then you can go for higher medicines like ibugesic or mexftal p. paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day.

A. Repeat paracetamol every six hours and as of now going to advise you to do cold sponging on the body and specially the forehead of your child that usually is going to be beneficial in reducing down the temperature over the period for your child
