Q.

hi, wanted to check on the nasal drop and it's effect on babies.i have been using saline nasal drop nasoclear for my 2 month old daughter. have noticed that she spits out saliva drops in bubbles. as I understand it might be because of the saline drop which eventually goes to the mouth from nose passage, is saline drops safe for continuous usage? given the fact that babies should not be consuming saline water atleast in the initial 6 months of age. she has blocked nose at times since last one week.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and if she is getting her nasal blockage then you should not use any nasal drops for weeks together otherwise her nasal mucosa may get thickned
