Hi, unfortunately we missed to get vaccine done after 9 Mths and now baby is 2Yrs 9Mths now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. because of the current pandemic situation due to covid it is advisable to postpone the vaccinations for a few weeks for safety of your child against covid, you can talk to your pediatrician for re scheduling of it but if you have missed any vaccinations in previous time it's not a problem it won't affect the baby, you can gret them done now if it is possible for you to follow all the safety protocol while the vaccinations are done.
flu vaccine or influenza vaccine are suggested to give partial protection against covid but they are of limited help, complete safety precautions has to be followed for complete protection.

The schedule which is given provides the ages at which your child should be vaccinated to get the earliest and best protection against vaccine-preventable disease...Your child isn’t fully protected if their vaccination is overdue, even if they have been up-to-date in the past.
