Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down. you have to be committed to lose weight. eat more of fruits and vegetables and take lots of water. exercise like aerobic and cardios too

please don't compare your child with others.
height of child mostly depends on genetic so please don't take stress for this.
offer homemade healthy food for this.
encourage your child to do more physical activities like cycling stretching etc which can help .
provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day which will also help for vitamin D formation.
