Hi sir. My baby is 11month old. He is having cold and due to that coughing also started. Nose also blocked. he is having problem in breathing at morning and night

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. Home remedxies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warzm water to drink If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor paracetamol for fever and pain.

You can give indirect steam to the child specially in the night when you putting a child to sleep along with that you can use nasal drops about four times or five times in a day depending upon your need nv yet it is required please consult your doctor as well
