Q.

hi sir, my baby age is 4 month 20 days, she is getting red colour rash on her hips frequently, we are not using diapers , we are using only cotton cloth naps and we are changing whenever she will wet the the cloth then also she is getting rash, she is passing stools daily 8- 10 times ( loose stools passing) is it normal or should we consider it as diarrhoea?kindly give us your suggestion regarding this

A. Hai good morning !! Due to frequent urination or stool rashes may occur ,6-8 times a day is ok until 0-6 months... Clean with wipes or wet cloth dipped in warm water and pat dry apply oil on diaper area and put on other nappy.. Change nappy every time after peeing, pooping also check nappy is suitable to baby (quality,size) might also cause rashes... Consult pediatrician if baby not gaining weight and having more loose watery motions with foul smell,frothy...
