Q.

Hi sir / madam, My baby is 1.5 months old and she weighs 5.5 kg.. Dr suggested to reduce its wt gain to .75 kg at the end of 2.5 month.. birth wt is 3.5 kg.. is this normal or to be concerned?

A. Ma’am But the weight gain as the age of your child is perfectly fine your child has gained 1 1/2 KG is in 1 1/2 month so that’s perfectly fine it’s normally about 500 g to 1 KG every month as considered decision to eat and if your child has a doctor has advised you to reduce on the weight then you first ask your doctor how can you reduce down the weight and yes you can it is not going to affect your child in any manner but it’s actually not a very good idea
