Q.

hi my tsh is 6.19 doctor prescribed thyroxine tablets for 2 months.so if I get tsh level below 4,can I stop those tablets?

A. it is advisable not to stop this medicine without consulting doctor because even if the level has come to normal level but the deficiency may be present because the production has decreased so always meet your doctor before taking any step
