hi..my son is almost 20 month old. he doesnt talk much...just say...bye,wow,jump. make voice of dog. is it normal or not. he was very much into tv..mobiles. and we have a nuclear family. is it normal?

A. many things and assessment has to be done by the doctor so it is advisable that you should meet your pediatrician who will examine the child for growth milestones as well as go through history of development of the child and tell you whether the growth of the child is normal or not

A. ok fine. but do u think as my baby saying bye..wow...jump...says n immitate dogs bark. he is growing fine. as per 20 month baby. ??

A. here you will have to follow the norms of not interacting by close contact but interacting by maintaining a social distance and you have to you tell everything to the child that is happening in the the surrounding so that the child gets accustomed to what is happening locally

A. Hello!! My son is 2 and 6 month old, he is still not talking because of the lock down we can't put him at any school. He was very much into TV mobile. Now he nows all Rhymes, sing them with his own version, know all the alphabet and numbers trust me he learn everything from tv. We took him to a doctor, he says wait til 3 year. So we took him to our hometown where we ahave large family for 2 months he shows some improvement from then like now he makes eye contact try to communicate. Play peek a boo, giving kisses when asked to. L

A. it is very important that there should be other people around the child to which the child can talk because if the stimulus is not proper the language and social milestones of the child will be affected

A. hello mum if your baby is able to speak few words that means he is on the track moreover if he is listening to you properly making eye contact with you that means there is not any problem Till the age of 2 years baby will able to speak many words as well as few sentences
