hi my son is 6dys old his umbilical cord we see pus and red string is it dangerous.. what should I do ...is umbilical cord pus is very dangerous

AyeshaMom of a 4 m old girl2 months agoA. You can take help from doctors or personally I faced the same situation so I keep the area dry and put mustard oil in it. Within 2-3 day cord fall off and it gets better.

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy10 months agoA. Hai good morning !! As baby is 6 days old it takes time to heal umbilical cord nothing to worry about this. Apply ointment or cream for fast healing avoid contact with water ,after bath wipe off water gently and dry the navel area.
