Q.

hi.....my son is 5.5 months old... am not able to breast feed him due to some health issues..... how much lactogen should I feed him per each feed...he asks milk every hour.... I gave 30ml each hr and he was not satisfied and super cranky night he wakes up every 3 hrs....and day time he needs milk every hour whenever he is awake

A. thank you doctor.... but how much lactogen milk should I feed per each feed

A. Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of sujii e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk. initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increuased up till at least three meals in a day
