Q.

hi my son is 3 months old. he always sleep on his tummy. even if he falls sleep on his back he wakes up early and later he sleeps on his back only.. is this alright???? the sleeping position????and when he wakes up he will be fine for sometime and then starts crying he will be only if he is on his tummy or on my shoulder tapping him .. how should I resolve this two situations.. kindly help me

A. if the child is sleeping under observation on the tummy it's fine but before proper neck control if the child is sleeping on the tummy and by chance the child rotates the neck and is not able to lift the neck again then the child might have major blockage and difficulty in breathing

A. Kids actually after the age of three months they sleep on their tummy because it’s a very comfortable position and they can roll over but if the child is going to constantly sleep on tummy and the head is going to be one side suppose the left is down on the bed so that is going to become flat so you have to keep changing the position position of the head even if the child is sleeping on tummy that is not a problem for sleeping on the same position with the head down would be a problem
