Q.

hi my son is 2 yr 4 month old... he is having cold from yesterday... last time my doc gave antibiotics name- 'cefpodoxime proxetil oral suspension I.P 50mg' ... it's works very well.. can i give this now also ???pls tell me

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicinevfs like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhavlation is repeated frequently .

A. good morning the cough and cold is of different kind every time I would recommend that you should try to consult with your doctor before giving any medicine it should not be given like that without showing
