hi my son is 2 years 7 month from 3 days he is having cough and block nose .at night sleeeping not well getting breathing noise .doc has given medicine but still plz recomend some home home remedies or anything ..to help me

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. please give ascoril flu syrup to the baby Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

use Nasal saline drops for blocked nose.
or you may use Babyhug nasal aspiratior for this.
keep your child well hydrated
give few sips of Luke warm water to drink at regular intervals of 2 or 3 hours.
keep your child head slightly elevated while sleeping.
you can gently rub garlic pods on chest of your child.
