Q.

hi my son is 2.4 yr old but he does not speak but try to understand us what he want to do eg if he wants water then he pick up glass and put on our hand...like that.but he does not speak or understand much our instructions. is there any problem . he is recovering slowly like earlier he does not listen to us but busy in playing with self only but now he listen to me and his father but he is not interested in playing in group..When he was 1 year old we used to watch him tv more is this a reason ...what to do should not consult a doctor...

A. Due to this pandemic the kids hardly go outside so there social life decreased to a great extent so try to encourage him at home to speak more like read stories with him bring charts of fruits and vegetables and ask him to identify and sing rhymes story telling activity

A. Hello Parent, kids are full of potential and we just to understand how to unlock it. try to mingle him in your daily activities, once they get along and they feel the need to communicate to get their things done sure they'll try to talk else they won't and takes some time. involve them with your activities.
