Q.
Hi My son is 15 days old now. he is born preterm. right now on breastfeed only. For how long at one time, baby should be fed ? I'm not getting clear indication of when to stop feeding.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. breastfeeding has to be continued for minimum of one year and you can easily continue for total of two years for the child.

Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby.
Feed for 10-15 minutes from one side and then switch to the other side.
When the baby tummy is full, baby will not latch. Take care and all the best
