Q.
hi my son has 99.8 temp is it fever? he is playing normally and active the fever was calm down after some time and he was playing more time it will be rise to 99.3 or 99.5 other wise he is keep calm their is no temp is this fever???

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. no 98 is not a fever. baby on touch can have warm soles and head. It s a normal and healthy thing.
Check temperature at armpit level and if above 99 fahrenheit then we treat fever in babies.
Can give drops paracetamol like calpol / T 98 / Sumol as per ba y weight . Can be repeated every 6 hoirs
