Hi, my mother in law is telling me to give boiled and cooled water to my 7 month old baby. Is it necessary. I am breastfeeding my baby and also giving him fruits purees, ragi, etc

A. can give sone water up to 30 to 45 ml. If the baby is breastfed on demand, water can be skipped. However a few sips can be offered for oral hygiene.
