Q.

Hi, My mother in-law is advising me to feed ghee to my 2 months old boy. My doctor advises exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months. Is it okay to feed ghee to baby?

A. Dear mom you must follow your doctor’s advice here because at this stage if you are a feeding mother you should take a healthy diet even ghee can be taken so as to pass a healthy to your child but it cannot be given directly to such a small baby so at least for six months you must wait or till the date your child starts holding the neck and you start the semi-liquid or solid diet you must not give it to your baby directlyWrite Your Answer Here
