Q.
hi, my lo is 7 months... she sitting with support... now she doesn't like to sit ..most of the time she likes to stand while I'm holding her... my question is if I'm holding her in standing position will her legs or hip pain? is it ok if she prefer to stand (with parents holding her from her under arm) ....

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician4 years agoA. standing is still not the milestone for her. too much of standing might cause more bowing of legs which is totally undesirable. so momentary standing is ok but not for prolonged time

your child is too young for this.(stand)
so please avoid doing this.
try to distract your child by giving toys .
give massage to your child daily.
provide apt sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day
maintain good hygiene
