Q.

Hi, my kid is six month old and she having cold and slightly cough. any syrup recommended to reduce? we gave nosil drops, but she not having proper sleep. Thank you in advance.

A. for nasal blockage as well as cough and cold you can give nasal saline drops of any brand and it can be given again and again that is can be repeated every three hourly. it is salt water so does not have any side effects. can give indirect steam inhalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have gots side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. continue regulars diet of the child to keep the child well hydrated and try to prevent temperature variations around the child

A. Hi As your kid is small with regards to medication, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
