Q.
Hi my kid had wheezing and cold cough last week . Now she’s fine almost 90% . But morning she is nauseated and throwing up . She’s still on the antibiotic course of Amoxicilin (today is last day) . Is it because of the antibiotics? She is not nauseated during the day or even niggtime . Only when she wakes up . She throws up from her stomach. What shud i do , it’s normal or shud i be concenred

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodiluators or antitussives meduticine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
