Q.

hi my girl baby 1.6 years old, birth weight 3.4kgs now she is weighing 9.3kgs all miles are up to date and active , no cerelac ,nothing only home made food and breastfeeded for one year.now my question is why she is not increasing her weight?

A. Long, short, thin, or chubby — babies come in all shapes and sizes. While society may send a message that your lil' nugget has to have rolls of baby fat to be healthy, this isn't really true. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry.

Q. Hi, i was 72kgs when I got pregnant with my first child and gained only 8-9kgs in the entire pregnancy. My child was born healthy weighing 3kgs. I managed to reduce my weight to 63kgs in 2 years, but gained back 4kgs. I want to try for a second baby and trying everything from last 6 months to reduce that 4kgs. but I cannot even reduce half a kg even with healthy diet and exercises. my bmi currently is 26. can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
