Hi, my first trimester of pregnancy is running and during my tests my tsh (thyroid) is 3.5 so my doc told me to take tablet in the morning and I have to wait for 3 hours after taking tablet so that I can have my breakfast. why is it so?

A. Usually there need to be 45 to 60 minutes gap between ur thyroid medicine and first meal of the day. I don't think a 3 hrs gap will be needed. You have to take the medication in empty stomach. Don't eat anything for the next one hour.
