Avoid foods high in salt, saturated fat and sugar, foods low in fibre and nutrients, and drinks with caffeine or lots of sugar.

yes ,it is ok.
but it would be better to prefer unpolished rice .
as they contain more vitamin B12 and other nutrients.
please offer variety of food items from different food groups like vegetables, fruit, pulses, dairy products etc also so you Child can get all essential nutrients in adequate quantities too.
