Hi My daughter is 8months old now her birth weight was 2.54, now her weight is 7.8 is this the appropriate weight for months?

A. Namaste Mom A full term baby is expected to almost double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and later by the age of 1 they triple it up

A. Yes, 7.8 kg at 8 months from a birth weight of 2.54 kg is healthy growth. Aim for around 9 kg by 12 months. Continue balanced feeding and regular check-ups.

A. Yeah yeah this is okay as of now but of course it should be at least 9 kg minimum by the time of 12 months so right now this is an average weight that your child is maintaining as per the birth rate so it is good enough there is nothing wrong with the weight of your child
