My baby is now 40 days baby. His weight is 3kgs at the time of birth now he is only 3.5 kgs... is this appropriate weight...

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, a weight gain of 500 grams in a month is fine, do not worry. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
