Q.

Hi, My daughter is 6.5 months, she started sitting when she was 5 months old, but now she loves to stand by getting some support otherwise she starts crying. she doesn't like to lay down on her stomach alot. is it normal for baby to skip crawling or will she learn it

A. its fine given adequate tummy time helps in strengthening the back muscles and every baby is different in achieving his developmental milestones so don't worry. . . .. .. .

A. Some experts say that babies these days may crawl later or even skip the milestone altogether, perhaps because most are now placed on their back rather than on their tummy to sleep (to reduce the risk of SIDS). Whatever the reason, it's nothing to worry about most of the time.
