hello doctor, my son is 5 months 17 days. my mother in law used to make him sit and stand 5-6 times daily by support. is it correct for his age? if yes, how long should I let him sit and stand by support

A. you can make the child sit with support after completion of 5 months of age. the thing is that the back of the child should be well supported along with the head as well as the bottom of the child. dafter making the child sit if you see that the child is uncomfortable then kindly avoid sitting of the child again for at least one to two weeks

A. Please tell your mother in law to wait for a while because the correct age to make the child sit a stand after completing the time of six months it’s hardly some days left if she’ll wait for a while it would be good for the child because these things are meant to be done at the right age otherwise a child can face issues because of the early age things that you are doing
