Q.
hi my daughter is 4yr old and she's been having this cough as soon as school started and is lasting for long. I've tried home remedies but didn't work. ascorill and panthor it doesn't work what may be the cause for it. In her Christmas holidays she was fine but it started again. She even coughs alot in her sleep, whole night. What do i do?

they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning.
requires examination and start antix allergic medicines.
meet dr and prevent such temperature variations.
there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.
when allergiesx are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine

it can be allergic or due to low immunity
so please get it checked with your pediatrician for once
keep your child well hydrated,it is important
give Luke warm water to drink
avoid giving Cold and sugary food items frequently
choose weather appropriate clothes, especially in winter keep your child head and ear covered well
