Hi my. daughter is 3 years old.. she. played in water and had cold cough and viral fever of 103 for 3 days. now fever stopped and severe cough is there. doctor gave levolin and Phenergan syrup 3 times a day. what is the use of this. still cough is there for my daughter. what is the use of phenergan and levolin? when will this cough stop? I am so afraid

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. give sitopaladi churn 2gm with honey for productive wet cougj, Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose
