my son is having cold, cough and fever. even after giving ibugesic plus fever repeats after four hours and fever goes upto 103.How long does viral fever remains.

A. viral fever last long for 5 days, keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. And give Ibugesic drops / syp in proper dose. do tepid sponging. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately.
