Q.

hi, my daughter is 2 weeks old and we need to know what feeding frequency should be maintained? A lot of times we need to wake her up after 3 hrs to feed her. She will be in deep sleep, but still takes good feed.

A. hi parent you need to continue the same till the baby is 2 montb of age later feed on demand keep a track on urine output it should be 6 to 8 times a day it indicates adequate milk intake

A. An infant should be fed in every 2-3 hours depending on the milk intake per feed. In initial months, babies do not know how to demand feed, therefore you have to maintain this frequency for couple of months. It should also include atleast 2 times night feed too. Baby should not sleep for more than 3-4 hours straight without feed.
