A. A lump or swelling in the breast accompanied by pain, redness and tenderness is mastitis. It is sometimes accompanied by a fever. Or it can be breast abscess as well. Please get yourself checked if you have had that lump for more than 2 weeks.

A. A lump in the breast is quite common in nursing mothers but please do not ignore it. These Lumps are mostly plugged milk ducts. These go away in a few days. But if they stay for more than 2 weeks, please contact your doctor.
