Q.

Hi, my daughter is 18 months old.. in day time she takes little amount of food.. she only eats half of appam, dosa, etc.. for afternoon only eats 4 or 5 mouthful of rice. but at night she eats a lot like chicken , porridges.. and drinks breastmilk too.. is that ok for her..? taking lots of food at night may cause any digestive problems in future.. or i may cause any health issues in future.?

A. see avoid too much of high protein ok. the baby needs a balance diet with protein, carbs, fats abd fibre. no need of fancy foods ok. Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.

A. Hello dear parent, there is no problem as long as baby is happily accepting it and is active as well. But yes you should give food as per baby diet. Never over feed just to keep baby full throughout night. Good luck and take care
