Hi, my daughter is 1 year 10 days old. Her birth weight was 2.87 kgs. currently she is weighing 7.7 kgs. is she under weight and do we need visit the pedeatrician? she actively plays well and sleeps well but her weight seems to be not increasing. please suggest what needs to be done?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear parent, weight of 7.7 kg is absolutely normal for 1 year 10 days old baby, do not worry. baby's weight at this age should be in the range of 7 kg to 11.5 kg, so your baby's weight is in the normal range.
also, since your baby is active, playful and eats well, it indicates good health.
