hi, my daughter 6months old, she was suffering from cold, and the head was hot what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bvdronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl4 years agoA. It It will be fever also along with cold so take the temperature is the temperature is 99+ then you can give paracetamol to the child and for cold as of now you can put nasal drops to open the nose blockage and also can give steam indirectly to the child
