Q.

Hi, My daughter 3.5 months is having formulae milk from her first day onwards.. but now she started breast milk. Also she is having less interest in formulae milk.. Iam confused that am i having sufficient breast milk for her. Parents compelling to give additional suppliments like banana and other pures or else her weight get reduced .pls give me a remedy.

A. Hello good morning !! For improving breastmilk supply have lactating foods in diet. Rusk, roasted bread, Papaya,chikoo, bottle gourd, Poppy seeds, garlic, kheema. You can also feed formula milk along with breast milk simultaneously. Untill 5 completed months exclusive breast milk or formula milk is suggested and other solid foods (banana, cerelac etc ) should be started from 6 month onwards.
